Corollary

Corollary / AI and MCP

Your notes, for your AI.

Corollary runs an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP apps can read and search the notebooks you choose, and suggest additions that you accept or remove.

Updated

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT use data and tools from other apps. Corollary's MCP server is how your AI reaches your notes. There is no chat inside Corollary: you keep using the AI you already have.

What can an AI do with my notes?

Only what you allow, in the notebooks you choose:

Can it change or delete my notes?

No. An AI can only add, and only as a suggestion. Each suggestion appears in Corollary labelled with the AI's name and stays out of your notes until you accept it; you can remove it instead. Nothing an AI sends can edit or delete what is already there, and LaTeX that would read files, run commands or define macros is refused.

Which notes can it see?

None until you choose. AI access is off by default. When you connect an AI, you sign in to Corollary and pick the notebooks it may read, and whether it may suggest additions, which is off unless you turn it on. Notebooks you mark private are never shared.

Does Corollary send my notes to AI companies?

Only to the AI you connect, and only when it searches or reads on your behalf. Corollary doesn't send your notes to any AI company on its own. What a connected AI does with the text it reads is governed by that service's own privacy policy. See our privacy policy.

How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT?

Add Corollary as a custom connector in your AI app, using this server address:

https://agsswgcuargaqrhopjfo.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings โ†’ Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Paste the server address and connect.
  3. Sign in to Corollary, choose the notebooks Claude may read, and approve.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, add a connector (in developer mode, under Settings) with the server address.
  2. Sign in to Corollary, choose the notebooks ChatGPT may read, and approve.

Other apps that support MCP connect the same way.

How do I turn it off?

In Corollary, open Settings, find the connection and choose Revoke. Access stops at once. You can also change which notebooks a connection may read, or exclude a notebook, at any time.

What does it cost?

AI access through MCP is part of Pro, at $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. You also need an account with the AI app you connect. See plans.
